The Professional Development today was affirming and thought provoking at the same time. But the one image I will take away is the video clip of child-adult pairings where the child is copying the adult actions. The clip focuses on negative behaviours and I know that this is so very true in so many ways BUT I also know that the opposite must also be true (even if it doesn't make such a powerful impact). I would love to make a video of the reverse scenario. Today we heard a lot about making explicit what we expect in terms of behaviour and the positive version is the image I would like to hold in my heart.
